This policy explains how Labelyze, operated by Lefteris Varouxis (LV Media Group), Greece ("we") handles your data. We are the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

• Label photos — sent to our AI provider only to read the ingredients. We do not store your photos.
• Ingredient text and scores — the text read from a label and its score may be saved without any personal data so the same product always gets the same score.
• Account data — if you sign in: your email address and your scan history (product name, score, date, alerts).
• Diet filters — kept on your device to personalise alerts.
• Purchases — handled by our payment and subscription providers; we never see your full card details.

Why we use it

To provide scans, save your history, manage your subscription and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Service providers

We use trusted providers for hosting, AI text recognition, and payments. They process data only on our behalf.

Retention

Scan history is kept until you delete it or close your account. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

Your rights

You may access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to processing. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
